I'm using gajim-0.14.1-r2 and i can't reproduce problem: $ nslookup ; gajim bash: nslookup: command not found ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkWindow) ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkInvisible) ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkObject) and i can use and talk using gajim.
Just gmail account problem? without bind-tools. I can't login with my gtalk.the Gajim's status is always loading with no response.
I don't have gmail account, i tried gajim with and without SRV use flag and stiil works (btw, could you paste emerge --info and provide gajim version in summary?). I'm giving up with it.
I know this problem, but I never knew whats the impact on it. If it is that gmail will not work we have to fix that.
Any suggestion for a USE? gmail?

I think srv use flag should be enabled by default, because SRV records are used on many XMPP servers. gmail use flag should be deleted.
reopen to close correctly.
USE=srv allready was there.
