Comment on attachment 259121 [details] patches this patch tarball has more differences from the CVS tree than one patch missing ... http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo/src/patchsets/openafs/patches/1.4/
I took this file as the base: http://distfiles.gentoo.org/distfiles/openafs-1.4.12.1-patches-2.tar.bz2 not sure how this is generated from cvs. In any case, kbuild patch can be removed.
Oh, I see. It is done with make-tarball.sh. Then I guess it would be more consistent not to change the patches at all in cvs, but rather use the following in both ebuilds. EPATCH_EXCLUDE="012_all_kbuild.patch" \ EPATCH_SUFFIX="patch" \ epatch "${WORKDIR}"/gentoo/patches as in net-fs/openafs-1.4.12.1-r2.ebuild
so all of the new patches are fine for 1.4.14 ?
Exactly. Please, ignore my patches tarball.
ok, ive version bumped both
