Chromium-bin fails to run unless the correct sys-devel/gcc versioin is merged and set as the active compiler. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.current/and or active gcc < 4.5.1-r1 2.emerge =www-client/chromium-bin-8.0.552.224 3.run chromium-bin Actual Results: brian@big_daddy ~ $ chromium-bin /opt/chromium.org/chrome: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.4.5/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found (required by /opt/chromium.org/chrome) It seems that the current build of chromium-bin will not run on a system with less than sys-devel/gcc-4.5.1-r1 as the active gcc version. There should also be an ewarn/einfo to have the proper gcc version set as the active one in order to run chromium-bin.
