Hi arches. Please test and stable the following scientific libraries.

sci-libs/cddlib-094f-r2      amd64 ppc x86
sci-mathematics/gfan-0.4-r1  amd64 ppc x86
sci-libs/cdd+-077a           amd64 x86
sci-libs/lrslib-042c         amd64 x86

The best test for this is to install sci-mathematics/Macaulay-1.4 which (during install) uses these libraries many times to create it's database of examples.  Be careful though that sci-mathematics/Macaulay-1.4 needs a newer mpfr ( bug #348634 ) for which downgrading could be difficult.
