Hello arches, GNOME 2.32 was recently unmasked in gentoo-x86, and repoman is now spewing dependency problems with net-libs/telepathy-glib due to dev-libs/gobject-introspection (needed for vala bindings) not having keywords on hppa/ppc/ppc64. To avoid a keyword drop on other packages like net-misc/vino, I masked "=net-libs/telepathy-glib-0.12* vala" in arch/powerpc/package.use.mask. Due to hppa's policy regarding their package.use.mask, I had to drop keywords (nothing needs telepathy-glib-0.12 on hppa yet). powerpc: please keyword latest dev-libs/gobject-introspection and remove the mask from package.use.mask; you'll also need this package later for GTK+:3/GNOME 3/pygtk:3. hppa: please keyword latest dev-libs/gobject-introspection and re-keyword telepathy-glib; you'll also need this package later for GTK+:3/GNOME 3/pygtk:3. Thanks! PS: I'll be committing to profiles/ebuild after I submit this bug so I can add the bug number to the commit message.
I've dropped ppc and ppc64 keywords accordingly until gobject-introspection is keyworded or the USE flag masked. Please note that the flag was added to enable feature required for gnome 2.32 so keywording/testing would be preferable to masking the USE. Thanks in advance.
HPPA keywording dropped.
Arches, could you please try to check this soon to allow Gnome 2.32 stabilization in more arches than x86/amd64? If you want keywords dropped for your arch (or keeping the use masked), feel free to drop a comment here and unCC Thanks a lot
~ppc/~ppc64 done, last arch closing
