Stabilize dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3.
everything looks good on x86. (compiles well, cli works well and so on for python bindings ..)
On SPARC, runs through its tests, passing all of them until this: fts3token-3.3... Ok make: *** [test] Bus error I have already seen this problem with dev-db/sqlite-3.7.2, so I wouldn't worry too much about stabilising this. I'm filing a separate bug report on the bus error problem.
As an additional, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348387 for the bus error failure when running through its tests on SPARC.
Tested on x86, all good here
Stable for HPPA PPC.
Hit bug 348079 on x86.

The threadsafe bug seems to be fixed in version 3.7.5. Continue stabilization of this version or wait for 3.7.5?
Go for 3.7.5
You can continue stabilization of dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3. At least 1 architecture has stabilized dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3, so there will be a separate stabilizational bug for dev-db/sqlite-3.7.5. (Also please respect ISO 8601.)
The SIGBUS error is still there, but this shouldn't be a problem as it already existed in 3.7.2.
On SPARC, the same thing also happens with 3.7,5, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348387 for further details.

Same for us
Stable on alpha.
dev-db/sqlite-3.7.5 will be stabilized in bug #357849.
