Stabilize dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3.
Comment 1 Florent D'halluin (Flal) 2010-12-09 07:38:36 UTC
everything looks good on x86. (compiles well, cli works well and so on for python bindings ..)

Comment 2 Alex Buell 2010-12-10 22:49:53 UTC
On SPARC, runs through its tests, passing all of them until this:

fts3token-3.3... Ok
make: *** [test] Bus error

I have already seen this problem with dev-db/sqlite-3.7.2, so I wouldn't worry too much about stabilising this. I'm filing a separate bug report on the bus error problem.
Comment 3 Alex Buell 2010-12-10 22:54:56 UTC
As an additional, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348387 for the bus
error failure when running through its tests on SPARC.
Comment 4 David Abbott (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-11 02:16:32 UTC
Tested on x86, all good here
Comment 5 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-13 04:45:56 UTC
Stable for HPPA PPC.
Comment 6 Myckel Habets 2010-12-16 18:15:57 UTC

Recursion, see recursion.
Comment 8 Myckel Habets 2011-02-06 18:14:21 UTC
The threadsafe bug seems to be fixed in version 3.7.5. Continue stabilization of this version or wait for 3.7.5?
Comment 9 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-02-06 18:54:58 UTC
Go for 3.7.5
Comment 10 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-02-06 19:01:09 UTC
You can continue stabilization of dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3.

At least 1 architecture has stabilized dev-db/sqlite-3.7.3, so there will be a separate stabilizational bug for dev-db/sqlite-3.7.5.

(Also please respect ISO 8601.)
Comment 11 Alex Buell 2011-02-06 21:49:57 UTC
The SIGBUS error is still there, but this shouldn't be a problem as it already existed in 3.7.2.
Comment 12 Alex Buell 2011-02-06 21:53:49 UTC
On SPARC, the same thing also happens with 3.7,5, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348387 for further details.

Same for us
Comment 15 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-02-27 12:01:51 UTC
Stable on alpha.
Comment 16 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-03-07 22:43:54 UTC
dev-db/sqlite-3.7.5 will be stabilized in bug #357849.
