New mentor is rizzo.
I do not know if it is normal to post the work of a developer that is in the recriting status, but here it goes: My second version of the GnuPG guide is going online: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34735 Also, must of the work on the jabber ebuilds is almost done: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37316 After this goes to the cvs i will start working on jabberd2.
Humpback has done some good work. His earlier submissions were lacking some of the basics but I've had him go over the Ebuild HOWTO and /usr/portage/skel.ebuild and I believe he's got the basics down. He and I are working together on the jabber-server split, with him most of the brute-force coding and me cleaning up after repoman complains. He now has learned how to use repoman and has begun cleaning them up on his own. Good progress so far.
Humpback. Next step in your developer training is to take the official Gentoo Developer Quiz found here: http://dev.gentoo.org/~avenj/quiz Please answer those questions and email your answers (don't post them here) to recruiters@gentoo.org. In searching the answers to the quiz, feel free to search the Gentoo Developer Docs and other developers. As long as you learn the right way to do things, that is what is most important. Let us know here when you've emailed the results. No real hurry, go at your pace.
Answers have been sent to recruiters@gentoo.org . I hope they are ok.
Gustavo, we're reviewing your quiz presently In the meantime, please go to: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel and see the link about copyright assignment please. The quickest way is to print that doc, sign it, scan it and email it to recruiters@ in a GPG-signed email.
the other option, of course, is to snail mail it or fax it. If you wish to do either of those two, then please come speak to me on irc
Done.

Gustavo is going on leave of absence for next couple of months. Infra, please suspend his accounts.
CVS access removed @ 2008/03/14. dev account still exists, for mail to work.
Gustavo please reopen this bug when you're back so we can give you your access back.
What's his status? Is he retired? If so why is he still listed as maintainer of at least one package (app-editors/gobby)?
Gustavo, what's your current status? Your leave of absence was supposed to end 6 months ago.
Just sent the second mail.
I didn't got any reply from Gustavo and is still inactive, so let's proceed with the retirement.
