This ebuild has been upgraded to handle the latest version of crafty. A patch against the Makefile has been created to better integrate with the gentoo ebuild system. Attached is the ebuild project, crafty-19.6.tar.gz.

Can you attach the ebuild as text/plain please?

Created an attachment (id=21560) [edit] crafty-ppc.patch Ebuild and patches are attached. I think this is a painful process, as a binary tarball should be sufficient. I had attached it as text as well.
So...in crafty-gentoo.patch you pass CC=gcc. How's that work with icc?
Created an attachment (id=21584) [edit] crafty-gentoo.patch It should have been CC?=gcc and CXX?=g++ I have updated the patch.
Has this fallen into the abyss?
did you make that ppc-patch ? if so, why ? :) looking at it, i dont see what it fixes
also, moving stuff to the makefile just makes cross-platform support a nightmare in this case, the ebuild would not work on a ppc because the linux-gentoo target includes x86 asm options and x86 specific cflags
Created an attachment (id=22022) [edit] crafty-19.6.ebuild ebuild that is cross ARCH happy
19.8 is now in portage
