Hi guys, looks like you managed to avoid stabling monit-5, which leaves us with old monit-4 on amd64 stable. Please stabilize 5.1.1 (or any newer version if you want)
patrick: * QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile * fine but exhibit random runtime failures. * socket.c:356: warning: dereferencing pointer ‘sock.35’ does break strict-aliasing rules Is a problem?
Just a quick ping on this one - should the QA issue flagged by portage hold this up, or is this a false alarm? No sense having this in the amd64 bug queue if it is not ready for action, or alternatively, no sense holding this up if it is...
This error is "safe". It should not hold the stabilization amd64 done. Thanks Agostino
