app-portage/flagedit is giving messages to the effect it is being dropped, and we should use flaggie. But flaggie is not marked stable, and I really prefer stable stuff. SO: at least for x86, please find a way to stabilize flagedit. Reproducible: Always
I'm going to release 0.0.2.2 with bugfixes today. Then we'll see what we can do but I think you really should consider using package.keywords for the next few days instead.
The current stable candidate is 0.0.3. Unless there are new important bugs reported until then, I will request stabilization of it on 8th of January. Before that, wget-1.12-r3 has to be stabilized, and preferably installed on the machine doing mirroring.

This is a known bug in Python3. You have to set your locale to one supporting utf8, e.g.: LC_ALL=en_US.utf8 emerge -1v flaggie See also: bug #343721
Arch teams, please stabilize flaggie-0.0.3. This is the current upstream stable version, it has no known regressions. The only issue affecting it is bug #343721 but it is a bug in Python. Thus, for testing please make sure to set a utf8-enabled locale for build with python-3.
