Potentially missing dependency?

From http://mail.gnome.org/archives/commits-list/2010-April/msg09144.html:
([glibmm] gio_docs.xml: Regenerate with the new doc extraction tool)

"-Deprecated: 2.22: Use g_volume_eject_with_operation_finish() instead."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo emerge clementine
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Fails to build

Expected Results:

Comment 1 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-10 00:24:06 UTC
From time to time people hit this "bug":

http://bugs.gentoo.org/320699

http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/media-sound/clementine/clementine-0.3.ebuild?hideattic=0&r1=1.2&r2=1.3

I'm not convinced it's really a bug, but rather something broken in users systems. The check for glib in clementine is proper, and to this day I haven't been able to reproduce this.

Are you using gnome-overlay? Please post `emerge --info`. Do you have mixed arch and ~arch packages related to glib or cmake, in package.keywords?
Comment 2 Jani Vaarala 2010-11-10 00:48:39 UTC
I am using overlays, but not the gnome one.

I do have following under the PORTDIR_OVERLAY location:

  cross-avr
  media-gfx/luxrender

In this case the header file is not missing (like in #320699), but rather
it is just complaining about a missing declaration.

Here is the "emerge --info":

OK, maybe I mixed the problems. To be sure, can you post full build.log as well? and 'emerge -pv glib' output

Does it fail with 'dev-libs/glib-2.24.1-r1'? If it does try doing 'emerge --sync;emerge -uNDv world'

Merges fine with: dev-libs/glib-2.24.1-r1
