Anyway, you are right. The way bacula copies patches from version to version should be thoughed over.
$ du -sh --apparent-size files 100K files

Moved common config files from files/${PV} to files and dropped redundant ones. + Prune FILESDIR (BUG #344011) from redundant files. Drop old unstable + versions. 'du -sh --apparent-size files' is now 27k.
