mips does not have a stable tree at the moment. Nothing to do here for us.

This is probably the line where it fails:

Wed Oct 27 15:00:14 2010 write UDPv4 []: Operation not permitted
               (code=1)

Do you have firewall rules prohibiting loopback traffic, possibly?

Dirkjan, many people, inlcuding me, are using /usr/share/openvpn/easy-rsa to generate the keys. Is it possible to put a protection to that folder? Something like CONFIG_PROTECT and install a file under env.d/ so we need to run a dispatch-conf every time we upgrade openvpn? Cause, the way it is now, it overwrites our settings and it is not that convenient.
