As the title says dev-tex/luatex-0.50.0-r1 fails to build on amd64. The package was installed but needed to be rebuilt due to broken links Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge luatex The current testing version (0.63.0) builds just fine but gentoo should provide a robust foundation for tex(live) also in the stable branch

the same on x86
i found that downgrading autoconf to stable version makes emerge proceed (2.65-r1)
guess it's simpler to stabilise a newer version then; it's been there for almost one month already.

ok for me on amd64. (*) There is: QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile fine but exhibit random runtime failures. * luatexdir/luafontloader/fontforge/fontforge/nouiutil.c:49: warning: attempt to free a non-heap object 'buffer' is an error known/repairable? Is the case to open a bug on?
