When openning "Compose message" window, get the message below. Spell icon is missing, shows an icon with a red X like it can't find it. (thunderbird-bin:16012): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'tools-check-spelling' for stock: Icon 'tools-check-spelling' not present in theme also mentioned here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1972895 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start Thunderbird 2. click Write button Actual Results: Thunderbird can't find icon and prints error. Expected Results: SpellCheck icon found on system, no error from Thunderbird. Thunderbird now depends on "stock icons" set, which AFAIK comes with Gnome or maybe with KDE too. As I'm not using any of these (I use evilwm), stock icons are not present on my system. emerge x11-themes/gnome-icon-theme solved this for me. I suggest thunderbird-bin to be dependent on some package containing stock icons set.

We should probably make all mozilla products depend on virtual/freedesktop-icon-theme, preferably via the eclass.
Closing as per previous comment. Dependency added to eclass.
reopening as -bin packages where missed.
Added to all the -bin packages now. Resolving.
