Agostino, 
could you please in your x86 environment
* remove glitz again
* run lafilefixer --justfixit
* and then try to emerge gcam?

PS. It's possible that after "lafilefixer --justfixit" running revdep-rebuild is required...

Cool. It also built fine on my old laptop in the meantime. I'll add the x86 keyword and file another stable request in a month.
