Created attachment 250629 [details] kde-base:rocs-4.5.2:20101012-080750.log
From the qt docs: typedef qreal Typedef for double on all platforms except for those using CPUs with ARM architectures. On ARM-based platforms, qreal is a typedef for float for performance reasons. This is what happens when the application assumes qreal=double... Should be solvable with a bit of search/replace.
still present in kde-base/rocs-4.5.3.
Created attachment 253821 [details, diff] replace all occurences of double in code with qreal Markus, could you please try adding this untested patch to the ebuild? (PATCHES) (Compiling kde on my arm box would take till after christmas...)
(In reply to comment #4) > Created an attachment (id=253821) [details] > replace all occurences of double in code with qreal > > Markus, could you please try adding this untested patch to the ebuild? > (PATCHES) your patch makes it compile on arm, thanks! and the gui comes up w/o issues.
Fixed in 4.5.3 and later, thanks! :)
