Has been in the three since July 12th without any bugs. The current stable version has an associated security bug: bug #327973
I assume you mean version 1.4.8? This fixes also a USE flag check with PHP 5.3
1.4.8 was commited yesterday, so I meant now 1.4.6, now I mean 1.4.8 :)
Try to do stabilisations on the security bug as it is easier to spot in the bug list arch teams usually work on.

I'm hitting a problem on my stable x86 system that prevents me from installing symfony (PEAR-Console_Getopt seems to be one of the dependencies). Please let > me know if you'd prefer a separate bug report about that. Can you please stabilise symfony using a stable version of PHP (i.e 5.2.14)? The error you ran into is a part of bug 336869, and will be gone as soon as dev-php/PEAR-Console_Getopt-1.2.3-r1 gets stabilised.
