The current stable version of rdiff-backup, v1.2.8, has an annoying bug (bug 291650) that was fixed in -r1. It would be nice to get rid of the deprecation warnings from all my cron jobs.

Could it be that you tried to stay incognito b/c you are not a maintainer?

Actually e-mail is sent to [e-mail], [e-mail] and [e-mail] when adding/removing [e-mail] to/from CC list.

Weird... No signs of this bug in my x86 folder (while other bugspam shows up normally).
