I just emerge chromium-bin but doesn't start and fails with this error: ./chrome: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by ./chrome) Also I'm running an ~amd64 gentoo box. If you're running ~amd64, you should have glibc-2.12.1-r1... Does the problem persist after you update? If updating glibc fixes the problem, I will update the package dependencies.
The lastest version in portage is 2.11-r1. I did a build and chromium works fine. Also notice that this version of glibc is hardmasked.
