Im ccing portage team, since if i use -sandbox on features it doesnt happen. If i use in the ebuild SANDBOX_DISABLED="1" SANDBOX_ENABLE="0" with sandbox on features it happens also. Any help here would be appreciated. Ive talked to scox on irc and even him doesnt have an idea and he works in the sandbox.
grsec kernel -- I'd imagine that's involved. You'll have to provide us/someone with your configuration in order to nail this down.
Created attachment 22568 [details] .config of the kernel
Carpaski i dont think its grsec related, cause i use development-sources and the same happens to me when i have FEATURES="sandbox", when i use FEATURES="-sandbox" it doesnt happen, and disabling sandbox inside the ebuild, doesnt work.
So it's actually interfering somewhere. jdk's are good at messing with sandbox and breaking things or vice versa for some reason. Very annoying really. RESTRICT=nosandbox, if it's _really_ _really_ necessary. Try and add a predict to stiffle the problem.
Moving to java team.
Moving to java@gentoo.org
Try the new 1.4.2.04 ebuild, it fixed it on my side :P
