The reason for not stabilizing -r1 with Gnome 2.30 (bug 324077) was that Anarchy mailed me with compiling problems when using as-needed, since all my systems were compiled without as-needed support, I simply commented it on upstream bug copying errors from anarchy's mail: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=571145#c47 and skipped it temporally. Now, I have tried to merge -r1 version with current profile (that is appending as-needed) and looks to work fine for me :-/ Then, I would like to ask anarchy to re-test and: 1. If still failing, change summary to track this as-needed issue (there is currently no bug opened for this compilation issue). If anyone could provide a fix, it would be even better ;-) 2. If working ok, I think this should be ready to go stable (I was using it without any problems on my non as-needed system used to test Gnome 2.30) Sadly, I won't be able to take much action on this until September since I am now using my mobile phone connection (it's amazing how easy was to make it work with networkmanager and gnome-bluetooth :-O) and it's slow and expensive :-S Thanks a lot :-) Reproducible: Always
Anarchy, please re-test :-)
Jory, could you please test it if possible? Thanks
(In reply to comment #2) > Jory, could you please test it if possible? Thanks > Sorry I can no longer test, I have moved all my systems away from gnome.
No problem, I have contacted with Flameeyes that kindly have checked it compiles fine with forced as-needed Arches, please stabilize this one if compiles and works fine on your as-needed setups
Works on my --as-needed amd64 stable system
x86 stable, closing
