Description William Throwe 2010-08-02 06:05:30 UTC
Probably related to USE=-cups as the errors are about files related to printing.

This problem is caused by -cups USE flag and also occurs with net-libs/xulrunner...

You're right. xulrunner is not affected. I gave it another try and this time it compiled successfully. Sorry for the useless noise.
Comment 7 Jory A. Pratt gentoo-dev 2010-08-03 03:19:52 UTC
I have just committed the fix should hit the rsync mirrors shortly.
Comment 8 Tobias Jakobi 2010-08-03 13:46:40 UTC
I'm hitting a similar compile error with seamonkey-2.0.6:

nsMessenger.cpp:82:32: error: nsIWebBrowserPrint.h: No such file or directory
In file included from nsMessenger.cpp:128:
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:60:30: error: nsIPrintProgress.h: No such file or directory

nsMsgPrintEngine.h:62:38: error: nsIPrintingPromptService.h: No such file or directory
In file included from nsMessenger.cpp:128:
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:119: error: 'nsIPrintingPromptService' was not declared in this scope
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:119: error: template argument 1 is invalid
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:121: error: 'nsIPrintProgress' was not declared in this scope
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:121: error: template argument 1 is invalid
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:122: error: 'nsIPrintProgressParams' was not declared in this scope
nsMsgPrintEngine.h:122: error: template argument 1 is invalid

cups useflag not activated, so I assume it's an identical problem.

Tobias, are you still getting the "nsIWebBrowserPrint.h: No such file or directory" error? I am.

Am I the only one still experimenting the "nsMessenger.cpp:82:32: error: nsIWebBrowserPrint.h: No such file or directory" error?

Why is this error occuring when the nsIWebBrowserPrint.h file is present?

$ ll /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/nsIWebBrowserPrint.h
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17353 25 lug 22.51 /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/nsIWebBrowserPrint.h
$ qfile /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/nsIWebBrowserPrint.h
net-libs/xulrunner (/usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.2/nsIWebBrowserPrint.h)

The header does not come from xulrunner for starters. If your still seeing this issue, then your not using the official release that is in the portage tree. If you are still hitting this bug feel free to open a new bug report with all info I will need to help you figure out what is going on.

Just done it. It's bug #336648.
Thank you.
