Bug 328451 – sys-devel/gcc-4.5.0 readd the -Wtrampolines patch to the gcc patchset

The old -Wtrampolins patch was removed for it did't applay any longer.
Now new patch have been commited to upstream and commited as revision 162205.
Can we have that enable as default as the older gcc in the tree and have it
backported?

This doesn't apply.  It looks like the patch implementing -Wtrampolines was merged to trunk but not the branch; at least it's not in 4.5.1.  Do I have to  backport it too?
