Description Dennis Schridde 2010-07-14 22:48:11 UTC
Please keyword net-mail/dovecot-2.0_rc2 ~ia64. Dovecot 2 has been in production use on my systems since several months without problems.

Reproducible: Always

The first release candidate of v2.0 was released at 2nd July, rc2 at 9th July.
So how did you run it "since several months"?

Somehow I don't think an RC is worth the effort, let's wait for the real deal. Early adaptors can have fun with rc2.

net-mail: your decision.

There were 6 beta releases. OP probably meant them when he said "several months".

As the proxy maintainer for dovecot, I do not have a problem with ~ia64 keyword. net-mail/vpopmail will also have to be keyworded (or vpopmail USE masked for ia64).

But isn't this is a decision for ia64 herd to make? They will be responsible for keywording, stablereqs etc.
Comment 3 Dennis Schridde 2010-07-16 09:12:46 UTC
Yes, I mean the beta releases before the rcs, when I was refering to "Dovecot 2" having been in use for several months.

According to my experience ia64 will reply to a keywording bug when being CCed.
