This will need swig from bug 307613. And this will be required by new kdenlive.

We have 2 bugs open for mlt, both for asneeded & LDFLAGS. 
These won't make it in time for 0.5.4, so hoping to fix them for 0.5.6 (soon to be added in tree).

x86: When use contains ruby I ran into an issue:
Building ruby...ruby: no such file to load -- auto_gem (LoadError)

Emerging rubygems fixed this. Is it perhaps missing a DEPEND for dev-ruby/rubygems if USE="ruby"?

My bug was resolved. An environment variable was carrying into my chroot from the base system, causing issued. USE flag tests pass then. Going to check some of the revdeps. Sorry for the confusion.

Tested x86. Everything seems fine. kdenlive compiled fine and used mlt. Ran it, nothing unusual.
