Description:   Opened: 2003-11-01 23:00 0000 
Again, bad host name, but, this one has other problems.  The GNU sites do not
contain the file tar-1.13.25.tar.gz as the ebuild is looking for.  They contain
tar-1.13.tar.gz only.  I modified the line to try to grab that file instead and
emerge told me it had no idea what to do with that file.  I was able to find a
copy at ftp://gnu.wwc.edu/pub/mirrors/ftp.gnu.org/tar/tar-1.13.tar.gz, but it
still doesn't work.  I am stuck.

This is all still trying to get emerge -u system to work on a fresh install
from the recent instructions and cd images.

made it check gentoo mirrors first
