There is a new version of dante (the SOCKS proxy server), which contains many 
bugfixes to the 1.1.9 version (the most recent version in Portage). 
 
It is sufficient just to do a 
 
	cd net-misc/dante 
	cp dante-1.1.9.ebuild dante-1.1.12.ebuild 
	ebuild dante-1.1.12.ebuild digest
