I suggest to optionally call python_pkg_setup() and wxwidgets_pkg_setup() in pkg_setup(): pkg_setup() { ... use python && python_pkg_setup use wxwidgets && wxwidgets_pkg_setup ... } Calls to python_src_prepare() seem to be needless.
