Next time when you're adding shit to the eclasses SRC_URI, run

pcheck -r $TARGET_REPO -c 'pkgcore_checks.repo_metadata.*' '*'

Prior to commiting so you catch this.

Marking P1, since this is visible breakage now (and has been there for a while).

Fixed in CVS.

I guess hardly any of the users that wanted deblob upgraded yet, else they should have complained.

What is deblob? Should I rebuild the kernel after this upgrade?

As it turns out portage doesn't report any error for files missing from the Manifest, it simply assumes the file was downloaded correctly. I only noticed this when I wanted to test a local change, took a diff, and saw deblob-2.6.34 got re-added to the Manifest.
