I have been using opendkim for months now to sign email on my personal server and it seems to be working. How about having a stable version?
The version I am currently using is 1.2.2-r1.
With 1.2.2-r1 there seems to be a bug that ADSP discard is not working. Seems to be working after upgrading to 2.0.2. By reading RELEASE_NOTES 2.0.1 is probably good too. I tested it with telnet and trying to put scam@paypa.com to From as paypal.com as adsp in place. You should get: 550 5.7.1 rejected due to DKIM ADSP evaluation
The LIBOPENDKIM bug fixed in 2.0.2 also was fairly significant. I'm tempted to go for the 2.0.4 release coming out this week which has a few small bug fixes on 2.0.3. http://opendkim.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/opendkim/RELEASE_NOTES?revision=1.113.2.39&view=markup&pathrev=br-2-0 I could be a bit biased being an upstream dev here too. Thanks for the bug report requesting something that's being nagging (weakly) at the bottom of my todo list.

ATs - opendkim has a fairly comprehensive test suite. There are some bugs where configuration options were badly formatted but I haven't seen any significant bugs since the 2.0.4 release.
