We should get a newer version stable. I got some error with 0.7 not being able to decode the the buffer. Newer versions seem to work.

x86: Please stabilized app-admin/mcelog-1.0_pre3 the current stable version doesn't work with kernel 2.6.31

It passes the tests here on x86 and seems to work with 2.6.32.
