Stabilize: dev-python/sip-4.10.1 dev-python/PyQt4-4.7.2 x11-libs/qscintilla-2.4.3 dev-python/qscintilla-python-2.4.3
There's a major regression in PyQt4-4.7.2 which causes some apps to crash at exit. I'd suggest skipping stabilization of that version.
And see bug 301105 where KDE 4.3.5, Qt 4.6.2 ... need to go stable before these.
Please skip dev-python/PyQt4-4.7.2.

amd64 done
I have been archtesting on x86 with glibc-2.11.1 and gcc-4.4.3-r2: All useflag combis and various rdeps tested: No issues.
x86 stable
Removing bug 300393 from blockers, because KDE 4.3.3 was dropped from Portage. This bug can now proceed "more easily".
ppc64 stable
@Arfrever et al Please do not adjust the title for future releases of sip and PyQt4 because we need to drop the ancient versions for sip & PyQt4 from the tree and this wont happen if we keep adjusting the title on every release. Also this bug is moving as slow as hell so maybe @Qt and @Python teams should consider dropping some keywords from these two packages. Also not that PyQt4 requires >4.6.0 which won't make it to the most of the exotic arches Cheers

When given package has been stabilized on at least 1 architecture, then I open a new stabilization request bug instead of updating summary. > Also this bug is moving as slow as hell so maybe @Qt and @Python teams should > consider dropping some keywords from these two packages. I think that we should destabilize all versions of these 4 packages and their reverse dependencies on all these architectures, which don't stabilize these packages before 2010-08-01.
Remove the stable keywords will just create a huge mess for the users. I will propose to raise the priority of this bug and push the slow arches or just drop the ~testing keywords for these arches and leave the latest stable version for them around.

If you leave the latest stable version, then how will you achieve this?: (In reply to comment #10) > we need to drop the ancient versions for sip & PyQt4 from the tree

Stable for HPPA.
Arches, this is a 5 months old bug Please consider to stabilize these packages ASAP. We really need to drop bogus sip and PyQt4 versions from the tree @ ia64/ppc/sparc/alpha sip-4.10.2,PyQt4-4.7.3, qscintilla-{,python}-3.4.3 will be last stable versions of your arches. We wont ask you again to stabilize any sip, PyQt4, or qscintilla packagd because this really slow us down. You will keep your ~arch keywords of course So please please mark these packages stable for your arch. If you wont make it in time, *1 month from today*, we will proceed and remove old versions and the only stable packages for your arch will be dev-python/sip-4.8.2 dev-python/PyQt4-4.5.4-r4 dev-python/qscintilla-python-2.4 x11-libs/qscintilla-2.4 Thank you
Stable on alpha.
Marked ppc stable.
