Umm, wait a bit, there are some problems with 2.28 and e-d-s patch. I am working on it
Arches, please test and mark it stable. Was added to the tree only a few days ago, but the only change over -r2 was to revert again to use old e-d-s patch used in -r1 due other problems with fedora one. Seems to work fine here under amd64 with evolution-2.28
Arch teams, regarding bug 316889, feel free to stabilize it if you are unable to reproduce, since maybe it could be caused by some obscure user configuration problem. Thanks
