lxml build log after failure
Comment 5 th0th696 2010-04-17 00:06:21 UTC
I was upgrading a system from amd64 to ~amd64 and ran into this snag where lxml appears to be the hangup. Upon searching for this version of lxml (2.2.6) I came across this bug, but it looks as if you guys were just checking in. So sorry if this is the wrong place. Anyhow, I ran into this first during a 'python-updater' after I believe emerge suggested it during an upgrade of java ant, when I was running emerge -e world. Anyhow, it is reproducible now from 'python-updater', and I've run a 'revdep-rebuild', and 'lafilefixer --justfixit

(In reply to comment #4 and comment #5)

=dev-python/lxml-2.2* doesn't support Python 3.2 due to usage of =dev-python/cython-0.11*. This problem has been fixed in =dev-python/cython-0.12*.

Do these tests pass in dev-python/lxml-2.2.4?

Maybe chroot-issues? As reported above, all tests good here on my x86 machine.
