Michael Bombach mailed me privately for telling me that gtk+-2.18.7 has a regression causing chromium to crash when dropping a tab outside chromium window. This was reported upstream to:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=36151

This is the gnome bug report:

And this is the patch that should fix this issue:

I need to test if it really fixes the problem, but, if any other gnome team member is faster than me... welcome :-)

CCing chromium maintainers also to check if all is ok with them (and let them check if they are seen recently any duplicate bug report related with this)
