Description Morse 2010-03-08 11:29:43 UTC
i just emerged stable gnome with gnome-control-center-2.26.0 in it, and suffered from #291507.

as i understand 2.26.0-r1 is a bug-fix release, and hence must supersede 2.26.0, but for some reason it is marked "testing", confusing humble users like myself.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -v gnome-control-center
2.gnome-keybinding-properties
3.see #291507

Actual Results:
(gnome-keybinding-properties:11550): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_store_get_value: assertion `VALID_ITER (iter, tree_store)' failed

(gnome-keybinding-properties:11550): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gtype.c:3942: type id `0' is invalid

(gnome-keybinding-properties:11550): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: can't peek value table for type `<invalid>' which is not currently referenced

Expected Results:
normal launch

i emerged the right version of package with

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -v1 =gnome-control-center-2.26.0-r1

but i don't understand why don't make it stable.

I fully agree, but simply forgot about this problem since I am using that testing version since was added

Arches please test and mark stable, it fixes bug 291507

Hold yer horses! This will go stable as part of 2.26 pass #2, the full list of which is almost complete. I'll be filing a bug for that tonight.

Thanks for the report Morse; I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of the newer stabilization bug so we can track it there.
