Description:   Opened: 2003-10-09 14:50 0000
Whilst trying to emerge gpsdrive I receive the following error message. This
happens with both the x86 [2.03] and ~x86 [2.04] versions of the package.

checking for pcre-config... no
configure: error: pcre-config not found please install libpcre3-dev or similar

!!! ERROR: app-misc/gps-drive-2.03 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 324, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed.

I solved this by emerging libpcre manually. I feel that libpcre should be put
as a dependency of gpsdrive so that it would do this automatically.
