Hi, I recently emerged splash-themes-gentoo, and found that the images location in the cfg files are wrong. For example: pic=/etc/splash/natural-gentoo/images/verbose-1920x1200.jpg silentpic=/etc/splash/natural-gentoo/images/silent-1920x1200.jpg This is wrong, since the files are located in natural_gentoo directory, and this will cause some scripts to fail.
Created attachment 221923 [details] patch for 1920x1200.cfg Adding a sample patch which works for me.
Sorry, after reviewing I noticed it's not clear enough; 1. (In reply to comment #2) > So you may fix it to "natural-gentoo" and then you won't need my patch. Yeah, but this way I will need to edit my grub.conf file — No, thanks.

Same problem here with 1024x768 config file. I wouldn't run any patches on this. Just correct the image paths. This is a typo.
I agree, there's absolutely no need in changing paths or GRUB configs manually for no good reason. That is messy and has no purpose. That is job for upstream and maybe a little patch in the meanwhile.
This should now be fixed in CVS. Thanks for reporting the problem.
