First attempt at a kannel ebuild Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created an attachment (id=19000) [details] ebuild test #1
Should the conf file be put into, say, /etc/kannel/ instead of just /etc, before this'll get accepted? If so, I could probably whip that up pretty quickly; it'd be great to have this committed.
Created an attachment (id=41357) [details] ebuild for kannel 1.2.1 (stable) This one smooths build process, allowing USE flags. It also solves /etc/kannel problem. You may want to adjust KEYWORDS before commiting into portage tree.
Is there any reason why this hasn't been added to portage yet? The ebuild seems pretty complete and works very nicely. It also works for the latest stable version 1.4.0. Very keen to see this in portage. Thanks to all who have contributed thus far.
Created an attachment (id=51711) [details] kannel-1.4.0.ebuild Hi, I have add support for PostgresSQL, Oracle, and SQLite; enhanced dependencies list, IUSE flags, src_compile(); new src_test(). All your comments are very welcome. Regards, Oleg Titov
Created an attachment (id=51727) [details] good one sorry - wrong file was attached (please, ignore last attachment)
Created an attachment (id=51811) [details] ChangeLog pushing kannel inclusion into Gentoo Portage. I have attached ChangeLog file. Suggested category is: net-misc/kannel Your comments are very appreciated, Oleg Titov

Created an attachment (id=51816) [details] files/kannel-rc cosmetic changes to files/kannel-rc to make it work with kannel-1.4.0.ebuld
reassigning to the newly created mobile-phone herd.
submitted as app-mobilephone/kannel-1.4.0 Bad news: I needed to remove oracle support. dev-db/oracle doesn't exists and the oracle-instantclient-basic KEYWORDS is limited to ~x86 (would be impossible to add other keywords to kannel). Anyway, I don't think oracle is used by gentooers but time will tell. Good news: I've corrected and improved the ebuild. I don't see how it could be improved further, but I'm not a kannel user, so I guess you will explain to me how in future bugs :) thanks to all of you and I'm sorry you had to wait so long.
I get this error when installing: install: grupo inv

fixed user & group creation
i am making mbuni-1.1.0.ebuild and thinking what is right way to add mbuni-kannel-full-patch agaisnt 1.4.0 kannel from mbuni source to kannel? Add mbuni USE flag to kannel or ? Do i need to send here new kannel.ebuild ?
Open a new bug in which you provide a link to the homepage of the patch and explain what "mbuni" does. If it will be added to the kannel ebuild, the patch will be applied function of a "mbuni" USE flag.
