This looks like bug #290827 - perhaps it's time to declare a working version stable? Re-assigning to maintainer.
Same issue. If possible, I think restrictions on other package versions should be added to the relevant DEPEND variables, not just stabilize things.
After stabilization of Xorg 7, x11vnc must be upgraded. x11vnc-0.9.6 doesn't compile anymore. Please stabilize a newer version of x11vnc.
This also requires net-libs/libvncserver-0.9.7 to be stabilized
