There is new version."
"
Changes in this version:

    * Support for PHP 5.3.
    * The encoder is removed
    * The user cache functions are removed
    * The session handler is removed
    * The minimal PHP version supported is now 5.1
    * Some internal refactoring to clean up the code
    * Fixed some bugs (and probably added some)
"

Reproducible: Always

Ebuild for 0.9.6

Try this ebuild. Removed useflags for the removed features and added a useflag for --with-eaccelerator-doc-comment-inclusion

I'm getting this:
"[...]
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version:         20041225
Zend Module Api No:      20060613
Zend Extension Api No:   220060519
ac-wrapper: warning: invalid WANT_AUTOCONF 'latest'; ignoring.
ac-wrapper: warning: invalid WANT_AUTOCONF 'latest'; ignoring.
[...]"

app-portage-2.1.7.17
Comment 4 Ole Markus With (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 14:00:21 UTC
WANT_AUTOCONF is set in php-ext-source-r1 eclass. I do not think that warning concerns this particular bug.
Comment 5 Marcin Mirosław 2010-04-12 14:23:40 UTC
Agree.
On *non* production system (apache+fcgi+php-5.2.13) eaccelerator-0.9.6 works.

yet another very shameless bump :) ***
Comment 7 Matti Bickel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-22 08:47:19 UTC
You *do* realize I normally work by least recently commented on bugs first? ;)

But I promised Ole I'll pull in his ebuilds from the overlay (plug: try out our new php-experimental with layman!). So be it. Now in the tree.
