Description Thomas 2010-02-05 15:29:24 UTC
When emerging dev-ruby/rails-2.3.5-r1, /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/rails-2.3.5/fresh_rakefile is not installed. This makes rails <new-project> fail and leave the new project largely unpopulated.

Workaround; Use rails-2.3.5.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =dev-ruby/rails-2.3.5-r1

Actually more files seem to be needed in addition to fresh_rakefile, including some (doc/README_FOR_APP) that get overwritten when we generate the documentation.
Comment 2 Klaus Birkelund Jensen 2010-02-09 19:53:02 UTC
Adding doc, fresh_rakefile and README to RUBY_FAKEGEM_EXTRAINSTALL seems to be enough.

The doc directory only contains the README_FOR_APP.

This should now be fixed in rails-2.3.5-r2.
