Description Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-26 03:02:49 UTC
As the current stable versions of scribus will be masked along Qt3 on 2010-02-21, we need the new version marked stable, or loose stable keywords.

Maintainers: please ACK and add arches.
Comment 1 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-26 13:36:47 UTC
It's fine by me, but I'd wait for an ACK from Hanno. The application works great, and I haven't heard of any problems except it's drawing windows badly with Metacity and X-Composite enabled, it's a Metacity bug, not a Scribus bug.
Comment 2 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2010-01-26 18:37:34 UTC
I'm fine, although I'd like to keep the 1.3.3.*-version as long as possible for possible issues (I'm a bit unhappy with the forced speed of qt3-removal, but it's the way it is).
Comment 3 Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2010-02-06 10:56:24 UTC
Just tested it on stable amd64 chroot.

It compiles and installs fine and works as suggested. Only possible problem is that stable dev-libs/STLport-5.1.5 fails tests (see bug 276247).
Comment 4 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-15 19:21:37 UTC
As seems to be the case lately, a number of deps need to go stable for this to happen. Are you fine with these going stable as well?

app-text/podofo-0.7.0
dev-libs/hyphen-2.4

Yes, both of them can go stable.

x86/hppa/sparc: ping - you will be left without stable scribus in 5 days when we mask Qt3.

CC'ing QA.
Comment 9 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-16 22:34:56 UTC
stable x86, please raise priority for outstanding stabilisations

HPPA, and sparc can stabilize if they get user request.

Er, really? Did this actually happen?
