Hi, Ok my first attempted ebuild and it seems to work ok (i.e. it works for me). httptunnel is a tool that allows you to tunnel an IP session over a bi-directional HTTP connection. You can use this to get around restrictive firewalls and it will work over http proxies as well. Its a useful tool on a laptop if you find your-self somewhere we only basic network access exists - hotels for example. I suggest net-misc for no particular reason :-)
