Description Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-02 20:10:33 UTC
Drop USE="qt3" from pinentry-0.7.6 and request it stable? Bug 283429.
Comment 1 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-02 21:48:55 UTC
Qt3 support dropped. Stable request is a good idea.
Comment 2 quazgar 2010-01-06 19:02:33 UTC
Yes, it should probably be stabilized to not break Kmail's gpg support. But please add an einfo (or whatever is suitable here) saying that the qt executable name has changed, so that gpg-agent's config might need to be updated. It is usually in ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf.

Comment 4 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-06 05:09:03 UTC
how about 0.8.0 ?
Comment 5 Nico Baggus 2010-06-19 22:30:26 UTC
Any news?
Currently there is no pinentry for KDE environments.

Or create an extra pinentry-qt symlink? if that is expected?
Comment 6 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-20 01:12:18 UTC
on behalf of crypto I've tested pinentry-0.8.0 in a kde env and its working fine. Happy to endorse this stabilisation effort.

AMD64:

I have been using pinentry-0.8.0 for over 4 month without any problems on my laptop. Works like a charm!
