Description Niko Böckerman 2009-12-20 10:13:25 UTC
Emerge --depclean tells that farsight2 has link level dependencies on gssdp,
gupnp and gupnp-igd if those packages are installed when compiling farsight2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gupnp-igd -1
2. emerge farsight2
3. emerge --depclean -a

Actual Results:
~ # emerge --depclean -a

 *
 *   net-libs/gssdp-0.6.4 pulled in by:
 *     net-libs/farsight2-0.0.14 needs libgssdp-1.0.so.1
 *
 *   net-libs/gupnp-0.12.8 pulled in by:
 *     net-libs/farsight2-0.0.14 needs libgupnp-1.0.so.2
 *
 *   net-libs/gupnp-igd-0.1.3 pulled in by:
 *     net-libs/farsight2-0.0.14 needs libgupnp-igd-1.0.so.2

Expected Results:
emerge --depclean should eb able to remove gupnp-igd and its dependencies as they are not specified in ebuild for farsight2.

Patch to ebuild to enable upnp use flag and dependency on gupnp-igd.

I used this patch to fix the issue. It just adds upnp useflag, dependency for it and the needed configure parameter.
Comment 2 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-20 13:22:35 UTC
Interesting, I completely forgot to add upnp support.. Adding to the 0.0.15 ebuild.
