Comment 1 David Abbott (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-19 00:18:37 UTC
Installed fine here, just renamed the 1.2.8.ebuild to 1.2.9.ebuild.
Comment 2 Gerald 2009-12-20 20:40:09 UTC
The old (renamed-copied) 1.2.8 ebuild worked fine for me to on x64.

I can confirm, that the copied 1.2.8 ebuild on amd64 works fine with version 1.2.9.

Useflags:
[ebuild U ] net-mail/dovecot-1.2.9 [1.2.8] USE="maildir mbox mysql pam ssl -berkdb -bzip2 -caps -cydir -dbox -doc -ipv6 -kerberos -ldap -managesieve -postgres -sieve -sqlite -suid -vpopmail -zlib"
Comment 4 Dennis Schridde 2009-12-28 13:44:19 UTC
Confirming (after quick tests): 1.2.9 seems to work on ia64.

Please bump sieve to 0.1.14 and managesieve to 0.11.10. I believe this is part of dovecot bump process. You are not supposed to bump dovecot without checking sieve versions.
