shouldn ´t projectM have a use flag to enable compilation if wanted with nvidia-cg-toolkit as said at http://projectm.sourceforge.net/:
"If you would like to use the new Milkdrop 2.0 support, remember to install the Nvidia Cg toolkit, enable USE_CG during compilation, and install the Milkdrop 2.0 presets"
