Hi!

Please find attached iwl1000-ucode-128.50.3.ebuild for your intel wifi Link 1000 series cards.

iwl1000-ucode is the ucode for card intel Wifi link 1000 series which works with iwlwifi/iwlagn kernel module.

Please you can head over to http://www.intellinuxwireless.org/
and you can probably find a Microcode image for your intel wifi 1000 card series
which is needed to iwlifi/iwlagn.

I suggest net-wireless/iwl1000-ucode Also, this ebuild depend on >=sys-fs/udev-096 or >=sys-apps/hotplug-20040923 previously submitted

best regards,
Kazuya,

Reproducible: Always

Anyone has that wifi card so that package can be tested and one day in the stable tree, because I saw at least 2-3 users that own that card and they use some local overlay.

I'm using it on my notebook, an Asus UL50AT-XX010X, and all works fine.

	Kernel driver in use: iwlagn

There is another ebuild in the Sunrise overlay: net-wireless/iwlwifi-1000-ucode. However, the ebuild attached to this bug looks better to me (and probably iwl1000-ucode is a better package name since it's consistent with the other iwl* packages).

I've tested this on my notebook, with same hardware and kernel module as in comment #3.

LICENSE should be "ipw3945" not "Intel".

@mobile team: Any objections if I commit this to the main tree (and add to mobile herd)?

Committed to portage tree.
Thank you.
